LD300 Series uses the field-proven technique of capacitance cell sensor measurement. The sensor is shown in the picture above. The sensing diaphragm (1) is at the cell center. The diaphragm defects as a result of the difference between the pressures applied to the left and right sides of the sensor. Pressure is directly applied to the isolating diaphragms (2), which provide resistance against process fluid corrosion. The pressure is transmitted to the sensing diaphragm through the filling fluid (3). |
