Axius Bursting Discs and Bursting Disc Holders

Bursting Disc
The Axius is a reverse acting, 95% operating ratio bursting disc, utilizing Fike's new G2 design and manufacturing technology.
The Axius disc has a "line of weakness" on the dome of the disc instead of a score line. There are no stress zones and no tool marks or indentations on the process side of the disc, making this a disc with a completely smooth process surface.

Bolted Holder
Bolted type disc holders are designed to be used with the reverse buckling scored SRL or Axius type bursting discs. Typically a bursting disc holder is a two-piece unit consisting of a base flance (inlet) and a hold-down flange (outlet). The face of the holder is machined to hold the bursting disc and forms a leak-tight metal-to-metal seal.
An optional O-ring seal is available to further reduce fugitive emissions. The holder contains a DiscLoc -feature to prevent inverted installation of the disc.
