Compressed air treatment systems are always designed for specific flow rates. They can only function at their best within a certain range. If the compressor startup takes place without any pressure, there is a danger that oil and water droplets will overrun the filter/dryer barrier. This 'overrunning' of compressed air treatment systems can create serious problems. |

Conventional compressed-air treatment has technical and economic limits, especially when the requirements are exceptionally stringent. Therefore, new approaches and technologies are required. With an achievable residual oil content of max. 0.003 mg/m³ the BEKO catalysis technology is setting new standards in compressed-air conditioning. After an intensive development, BEKOKAT® realizes the possibilities of this technology and combines it with the requirements of its practical utilization together with a high level of reliability. BEKOKAT® finally made the breakthrough. |

Metpoint OCV is a measuring system for the detection of hydrocarbon vapours. Samples, continuously taken from the flowing compressed-air, are supplied to the sensor unit via a rising main. In the sensor unit, the hydrocarbon vapour proportion is measured using a PID (photoionisatoin detector). |
